Close cooperation brings optimal solutions

Emil Müller GmbH & Co. KG, a longstanding German family business, is one of Kometos’ principal partners. Through this partnership, Kometos’ thawing, stiffening, and freezing equipment finds its way into Europe’s industrial centers.

“Our partnership has lasted over 20 years and is based on close, weekly communication,” says Raimo Niemi, Founder at Kometos.

“Together with our agent, we develop solutions to meet customer needs in thawing, stiffening, and freezing processes. We also leverage our combined expertise at international trade fairs for the meat processing industry. For example, we jointly participate in industry events such as the triennial IFFA in Frankfurt.”

Emil Müller combines in-house manufacturing with Kometos’ product exports

Now in its third generation, Emil Müller manufactures some machinery in-house but primarily serves as a distributor for various partners across Germany.

About 90% of Emil Müller’s clientele consists of meat processing plants, with additional customers in fish processing and bakery industries. The company has provided equipment for diverse applications, including cake thawing. When it comes to thawing, stiffening, and freezing equipment, Emil Müller represents products made by Kometos Oy.

This active agency firm also fosters valuable connections outside Europe, including the Middle East, opening new opportunities every year.
