Over the years, Kometos has sponsored athletes from various disciplines – including basketball, golf, and boxing. The latest addition to the team is talented young runner Ella Mettälä.

A promising summer season ahead

Representing her local team, Mettälä specializes in middle-distance running, particularly the 800m, 2000m, and 1500m hurdles. At just 14 years old, she is already part of Team Finland’s junior training group.

She holds several district records and championships, and this summer promises to be an exciting one. Her competition calendar includes events across Finland, such as the Junior Indoor Games, the Finnish Youth Championships, and the Youth Athletics Games. Looking further ahead, her dream is to compete in the European Youth Championships as she continues to grow and develop.
