A New CEO Appointed to Lead Kometos

Kometos Oy, a Kauhajoki-based family company known globally for its high-quality process solutions for the food industry, has appointed a new CEO. The company, long guided by its founder Raimo Niemi and strongly focused on international markets, welcomes Veikko Moilanen to the position.

Moilanen brings extensive leadership experience from the technology sector, particularly in international business development, export sales management, and operational efficiency.

“It is a privilege to join a company whose products and expertise are recognized worldwide. I look forward to continuing Kometos’ customer-focused approach and developing our operating models to support further growth. My goal is to ensure that our customers continue to receive exactly what we promise,” Moilanen says.
