MODULAR CAR WASHES – LIFE CYCLE OVER 50 YEARS
Over twenty years, Kometos Oy has manufactured modular process lines to be operated under demanding conditions. We produce and equip car washes in our factory. Due to this unique way of operation, actual installation on location is quickly; ready in up to two (2) weeks.
For many years, we have been supplying modular car washes with a turnkey model; Kometos is responsible for washing modules and property technology, and washing machine manufacturers for washing equipment. The combination of two experts guarantees the high quality, efficiency and durability of car washing concept.
Kometos modular car washes consist of carwash module and technical space module. Washing equipments, detergent tanks, ventilation and drying technology, electric and automation equipment and possible water recycling equipment are located in the technical space. We are also able to integrate in connection with the car washes for example a windscreen washing liquid machine, air and water machine as well as vacuum cleaner. Self-service car washes can also be placed in modules.

TURNKEY DELIVERY OF MODULES
Construction of the modules
We build our carwash module on stainless steel frame. We also integrate the washing machine’s stainless rails and floor grates into the frame, making both maintenance and cleaning effortless. Our modules consist of fully non-condensing Sandwich ST elements designed by Kometos Oy. ST elements are manufactured from extruded polystyrene insulator sheets which are covered with fiberglass laminates on both sides. The elements are fully waterproof, easily cleaned, withstand heavy loads and have good heat insulation abilities.
The modular structure is certified; product certificate Eurofins N:o EUFI29-20001928C.
Module installation
We deliver ready washing modules to the construction site as special transport and install them on the pre-built foundation. As we have pre-tested the module system at our factory, the installation time is really minimal. We can also tailor made the exterior of the carwash module according to your wishes. Modules are easy to transport to another location if required later.

The core of FMA-STANDARD 14 carwash concept is the unmanned Roll Over -washing machine. It combines safety, splendid washing results and excellent usability level. The washing machines have many available high added value options that may increase the average price of sold wash. Equipment operations are fully independent – payments can also be made via self-service terminal or a mobile phone. For wash control and monitoring, we offer ready servicing models on 24/ bases.

FMA-DOUBLE 14 is the washing concept for a good business location with many customers. As the name says, Double has two unmanned superior FMA-STANDARD washing machines. As the other concepts, these can also be complemented with high additional value options for increasing the average price of sold washes. Due to its extra machine, the FMA Double naturally handle double vehicle number – its yearly capacity is over 24 000 cars.
